SAINT VINCENT LES FORTS

This village set high over Serre-Ponçon lake, it was for centuries guardian of the Ubaye valley. That is why Louis XIV asked Vauban to build a fort here in 1693.
It is now a renowned place for paragliding, and its lake-side beach walcomes swimmers and sailors.
