"Chef-lieu du canton" the most important village in the area, is surrounded by a green landscape in summer, one poet said "a small spot Switzerland lost under the sun in Provence", so it got a label "station verte de vacances" and "village de neige". It overlooks a big valley between summits, some alost 3000m high.
Seyne is also the Capital for mules.
